Postgraduate Diploma
The Postgraduate Diploma programme shall be run on full-time basis, and shall normally be for a minimum duration of two semesters (12 months) and maximum of four semesters (24 months).
Candidates, who cannot finish within the maximum duration, would write to the Postgraduate school through his Head of Department to ask for first extension of one (1) semester. If such candidate cannot still finish within the period, such may ask for the second extension of one (1) semester. Where the student cannot still finish the programme, such student is due to have lost his studentship.
However, such candidate can re-apply and re-register but he/she shall pursue the programme for NOT LESS THAN two (2) semesters before graduating.

Registration for the Doctor of Philosophy degree programme may be on full-time basis. For full-time registration, the minimum duration of the programme shall be six semesters (36 months) and maximum of ten semesters (60 months).
Candidates, who cannot finish within the maximum duration, would write to the Postgraduate school through his Head of Department to ask for first extension of two (2) semesters. If such candidate cannot still finish within the period, such may ask for the second extension of two (2) semesters. Where the student cannot still finish the programme, such student is due to have lost his studentship.
However, such candidate can re-apply and re-register but (4) semesters (2 years) before been examined.
